In addition to Grounded we have youth ministry social events at various times, places and seasons. Obviously we can’t do downhill skiing in July or outdoor pool parties in February so check here for upcoming events. You may also want to check our parish bulletin or contact our Faith Formation office.
President's Day Sledding
All middle school and high school youth are invited to a sledding party on Presidents Day. The group will depart at from the Church at 12:00pm on Monday, February 15, 2010 for the sledding hill at Buffalo Heights. The group will return at 3:00pm. Duluth, MN Mission Trip
Middle school students will return to Duluth this summer June 20th – 25th . Approximate cost of the trip is $320.00 for a week of serving Christ and the needy of the north shore area. While in Duluth our youth will be partnered with local social service organizations to reach out the elderly, children and those who are struggling to make ends meet. More to come!
Washington, D.C. Mission Trip
High school students will have the opportunity this summer to serve in our nation’s capital Washington D.C. The Trip is July 17th – 25th. In the name of Christ students will assist at shelters, soup kitchens, thrift stores, children’s centers and elderly centers. Final details are still be worked out for this trip, contact the Faith Formation office for more information. More to come!
Steubenville North
Senior High students are invited to attend the Steubenville North Conference the weekend July 30 – August 1st on the Campus of the University of St. Thomas and Macalester College. Adoration, keynote speakers, workshops, Mass, and Praise and worship will be just some of the many components of the Steubenville north weekend. More to come!
