Welcome to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo Minnesota. We are happy that you have chosen to check out our website. You will find that our parish community is one that is centered solely on Jesus Christ. Everything we do is to spread the message of Jesus Christ and to build God’s kingdom on earth.
St. Francis Xavier is a vibrant faith community with over 1600 households and a school serving pre-kindergarten to 8th grade. At the center of all that we do is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. As Catholics, we come to worship our God filled with thanksgiving for the many blessings our God has given us. We receive the Eucharist, the true body of blood of Jesus Christ, and are transformed and strengthened to go out into the world to witness God’s love. We try our best to live out the command – love God and love our neighbor.
We are also a parish that loves our Roman Catholic faith and all its teachings. We truly believe that the Holy Spirit is guiding the Church and our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI. In the midst of difficult times in our culture and our world, we can turn to the Church for moral guidance and direction.
