Works of Mercy Hours

New guidelines for grades 7th – 10th,
Effective: September 2011
!!!

Please click on the above link to read the details about the new plan for service hours. It is important that you understand the expectations of our Youth Faith Formation Program. If you have any questions after reading the above document, please contact Debbie at ext. 110

For students who have completed Works of Mercy hours, there is a form below that can be completed and submitted to fulfill their Confirmation Requirement. The goal is to have the youth establish a habit of service over 4 years. The requirement for Confirmation is to have a minimum of 40 hours completed, with at least 10 hours done each year, 7th through 10th grade.

Students are encouraged to continue to submit their completed hours even after the minimum requirement has been met or if they are in 11th and 12th grade. This will allow graduating high school seniors to use their total number of hours for college scholorships, loan applications, and honor programs.
