Catholics Returning Home
Course will return this winter...
If you have been away from the Catholic Church for a while, this is an invitation to you to give the Catholic Church another chance! "Catholics Returning Home" sessions provide updated information on the basics of Catholicism in a non-threatening, RCIA-like, support-group format. The sessions are informational and formational. Topics of the six-week course are:
- Welcome. "Why Am I Here?"
- Video - Sharing Stories of Faith
- The Church Today: Changes Since Vatican II, Q & A
- Explanation of the Mass, Q & A
- Explanation of Reconciliation/Confession, Q & A
- The Creed: What Catholics Believe, Q & A
The sessions will be held from 7:00 to 8:30pm in the Parish Hall of Saint Francis Xavier Church.
There is no registration, no fee, and no need to join or be a parishioner at St. Francis Xavier Parish to attend this program.
Active Catholics from any parish are encouraged to invite and join their returning friends or family members for the sessions.
